Dr. Mehvish Riaz, Director, China Study Centre, UET, Lahore invited Professor Dr. Muhammad Nasir Malik, Director, Institute of Business and Management, UET, Lahore, as a guest speaker to conduct a seminar titled, “The Economic Impact of CPEC” in the Chemical Seminar Hall on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nasir Malik shared meticulous details related to the role of CPEC in developing the energy sector in the region. He also inspired the audience to understand the dynamics and need for CPEC, as well as Sino-Pak relations deeply. Exploring the history of CPEC in relation to the economic and infrastructural development, he made the participants explore the routes using the world map, which would keep influencing and motivating the audience, mainly consisting of engineering students, to learn, explore, and solve energy and infrastructure related problems in the future. Dr. Mehvish Riaz presented him with a bouquet and thanked him for his contribution.
