On January 24, 2024, a focus group discussion was organized at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, to explore the representation of Chinese and Pakistani women in visual art. The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, Vice Chancellor of UET, as the Chief Guest. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Mehvish Riaz, Director of the China Study Centre at UET, Lahore. The event saw active participation from deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and both Pakistani and international students studying at UET. Additionally, the occasion was graced by the Chinese Managing Directors of Operations and Human Resources from the Orange Line Metro Transit System, Lahore, who also contributed to the discussion. Souvenirs and certificates were distributed to the participants as a token of appreciation for their valuable contributions.
